Lobby Loop from Plastic Surgery Studios

A slideshow for the TV in your waiting room.

Lobby Loop is a full-screen slideshow about your practice. It plays on a loop on the waiting-room TV, so the people already sitting there can find out what else you offer.

A television mounted on a wide wall of pine boards, with a stone column at the right-hand end.
The screen is playing slides from the example lobbies further down this page.

What Lobby Loop is

Lobby Loop is a slideshow made for one place, the TV on your waiting-room wall. It fills the whole screen and plays one slide after another. When it reaches the last slide it starts again, so it keeps going without anyone running it.

Example lobbies

We made up four practices to show the kinds of slides a lobby can run and what each slide is there to do. None of these practices exists, and the details on their slides are invented. Choose a practice and click through its slides.

What goes on a lobby

Most slides are images, each one designed to fill the screen. A lobby can also include video, which is hosted along with the lobby, and a countdown to an event such as an open house.

Marrowmere Aesthetic Surgery, a plastic surgery practice

Example slide for Marrowmere Aesthetic Surgery. White orchids beside the words welcome to Marrowmere.

Welcome. Tells patients where to check in and what to expect while they wait.

Thistlewick Dental Studio, a dental practice

Example slide for Thistlewick Dental Studio. An empty dental chair in a bright room, with the words hello, and take a seat and the guest wifi details.

Welcome and wifi. Greets patients and gives them the guest wifi details.

Quillhaven Dermatology, a dermatology practice

Example slide for Quillhaven Dermatology. Eucalyptus branches in a glass vase above the words good morning, and welcome.

Welcome. Greets patients and asks them to check in and update their details.

Pellowick Eye Care, an eye care practice

Example slide for Pellowick Eye Care. A pair of glasses in black and white beside the words good to see you.

Welcome. Greets patients and asks them to have their insurance card ready.

How it is set up

  1. Your practice has a lobby of its own. It is a web page, with its own address under psslobby.com.
  2. A mini PC connected to the TV in your waiting room shows that page full screen.
  3. The slides advance and repeat by themselves.
  4. Because a lobby is a web page, it is managed centrally. When a slide is added or replaced, the change reaches the waiting room without anyone touching the TV. Plastic Surgery Studios makes those updates for you.
A quiet seating corner: an armchair with two cushions, a tall plant, two small round tables and the end of a sofa.

The people in your waiting room are already your patients, and they have a few minutes.

A lobby uses those minutes to tell them things they may not know about your practice, such as a service you offer or an event you are planning.

Who it is for

Lobby Loop comes from Plastic Surgery Studios, so it was made with plastic surgery practices in mind. It suits any practice that has a waiting room with a TV in it. The example lobbies above are for a plastic surgery practice, a dentist, a dermatologist and an eye care practice.

If your waiting room has a screen that could be saying more about your practice, ask us for pricing.

Ask for pricing

Lobby Loop is priced by inquiry. Send us your details and tell us a little about your practice. If you have questions about setup, about who prepares the slides or about how changes are requested, put them in the message.
